Paediatric Immediate Life Support

The Paediatric Immediate Life Support (PILS) course equips healthcare professionals with the crucial skills needed to recognise and effectively intervene in pediatric cardiac arrest scenarios.

Unlike adult cardiac arrest, the aetiology of cardiac arrest in children presents unique challenges, due to anatomical, physiological and pathological differences, requiring specialised knowledge and techniques.

During our PILS course, participants learn to identify the distinctive signs of paediatric cardiac arrest and initiate early and appropriate interventions tailored to children.

By understanding these crucial differences, individuals can confidently respond to paediatric cardiac emergencies, potentially saving young lives with timely and targeted interventions.
